Dr. Laimonas Marcinkevičius, Attorney-at-Law at JURIDICON, Was Recognized as a Project Management Professional

Education and expertise as well as adherence to the requirements of the code of professional standards paved the path for dr. Laimonas Marcinkevičius, Attorney-at-Law at JURIDICON, to recognition as a Project Management Professional, thus on 2 May this year he became the only attorney-at-law in Lithuania, who has been given such an honour.

The Attorney-at-Law has successfully supervised more than one project involving company  acquisitions and mergers, joint venturescompliance with legal regulation as well as other legal projects over the past few years. Having passed an examination designed for objective assessment and testing of knowledge on project management, he was issued a PMP Certificate in Project Management.

PMP is world-renown certification in the field of project management. It is run by Project Management Institute (PMI). The certification is based on the ANSI standard - A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, abbreviated as PMBOK Guide.

Shortly dr. Laimonas Marcinkevičius, Attorney-at-Law, will give a presentation on the topic of  “Lawyers As Project Managers: To Be Or Not To Be” during the International Congress of Lawyers held in Prague. He will use this platform to present the transaction and case management methods operated by the law firm for over a decade, as well as competences, which the present-day lawyers need to develop for successful implementation of client transactions and cases, process improvement tools, as well as the modern technologies enabling to suggest mutually acceptable “win-to-win” solutions to clients.
